Introduction
One of the main aspects of Game Testing is the verification of game rules in multiple languages. iTech Labs has been engaged by many licensees to conduct evaluations of both game rules and artwork in many different languages.

What do we test?
For Games initially developed in English, we test the English rules and artwork, and then translations of the game rules and artwork when made available
The evaluations involve checking whether the game rules and artwork represent a true translation of the English version of the game rules and artwork. We also ensure that correct gaming terminology for each language is used. Testing is conducted by accredited translators who are native speakers of the language. All issues are recorded in our issue tracking systems and reported to the client. After the issues are resolved, we review the revised game rules and artwork.

Games made available in non-English language
The evaluations involve checking whether the game rules and artwork correctly describe game functionality and maths. We also ensure that correct gaming terminology for each language is used. Testing is conducted by experienced game testers, along with accredited translators who are native speakers of the language. All issues are recorded in our issues tracking systems and reported to the client. After the issues are resolved, we review the revised game rules and artwork.

Languages evaluated
iTech Labs has completed multi-lingual evaluations for casino, poker, backgammon and bingo games in Italian, Danish, Spanish, German, French, Russian, Romanian and Portuguese languages. Accredited translators are available in a number of other languages as well.
